 i.  What kind of ODL does your institution practice?

The type of ODL CPCE practices involves creating and printing modules for students in rural areas, as well as using a radio program and online learning system (Moodle Platform).

ii.  What is the role (s) of the tutor?

In an ODL approach, the tutor's role is to ensure  that the learning objectives are precisely stated so that students may take responsibility for their education, keep track of students' development, and assess their level of success.

iii. comment on the effectiveness of the role(s)?

Students know what to expect when the tutor explains the learning objectives in detail. They are able to stick with pertinent readings and perhaps get ahead on their studies. Tutors will build a relationship with students, interact with them, and demonstrate their interest in their achievement by keeping track of their improvement. Students can learn how well they are progressing in a course, identify their strong and weak areas, and, if they are doing well, will be motivated, by analyzing their level of success.
